The circular economy has become a generally acknowledged idea. It is more than just waste management; it is about maintaining the value of materials and making them endure longer in their intended applications. It also aims to reduce the usage of unneeded materials in the economy. This necessitates new business models and a more decisive shift from ownership to service-based solutions. A full set of new circularity policies has been implemented at the EU level, and there is evidence of increased circular activity in EU member states.
