On 18th December 2023, European Union Ambassador to ASEAN, H.E. Igor Driesmans, and Mr. Jarrod Weir, Political Officer, Delegation of the European Union to Thailand, visited the ASEAN Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ACESP) Secretariat at the College of Management, Mahidol University (CMMU) in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting discussed the progress of the ACESP and the official launch of the ACESP web portal.
With supported by the Enhanced EU-ASEAN Dialogue Instrument (E-READI), a cooperation programme facilitating dialogues between the EU and ASEAN and the EU, the ACESP is envisioned to be a regional facility helping ASEAN Member States (AMS) achieve sustainable consumption and production by accelerating a transition to circular economy.
The ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD) currently hosts the ACESP Secretariat at the College of Management, Mahidol University (CMMU), in Bangkok, Thailand.
