Background:
This role supports the ASEAN Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ACESP) project in improving social media communications and engagement. The expert will oversee content creation, social media campaigns, visual identity upgrades, and coordination with the Media Creation Contractor.
Objective:
To lead social media communication and produce high-quality content aligned with ACESP’s mission of promoting circular economy initiatives and stakeholder engagement across ASEAN.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Social Media Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a strategy aligned with ACESP’s goals.
- Identify target audiences and tailor content to increase engagement.
2.Content Creation and Visual Identity Management:
- Create graphics, infographics, and written posts for social media.
- Oversee the design of banners, speaker quotes, event schedules, and promotional content.
- Upgrade ACESP’s social media visual identity for consistency and branding improvements.
3.Event Communications:
- Manage communication for ACESP events, including speaker promotions and live coverage.
4.Collaboration with Media Creation Contractor:
- Collaborate on video content and ensure smooth integration into social media campaigns.
5. Influencer Engagement:
- Identify and engage with relevant social media influencers and content creators to promote ACESP’s initiatives.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships and campaigns to boost visibility.
6. Monitoring and Reporting:
- Analyse social media metrics and engagement data to adjust strategies.
- Submit monthly progress reports to the project manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or digital media.
- At least 5 years of experience in social media management or content development.
- Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, etc).
- Experience in video content management and influencer engagement is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English.
The Social Media Expert will report to the ACESP Project Manager and collaborate closely with the Media Creation Contractor.
