The ASEAN Circularity Coalition is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at promoting sustainable practices, and advancing the principles of circular economy in the ASEAN region. Established by the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC), it aims to bring together government bodies, businesses, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders to address pressing environmental challenges while fostering economic growth and social development.
The establishment of the ASEAN Circularity Coalition comes at a critical juncture as the world faces escalating crises such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and growing inequality. Recognising the urgent need for action, the coalition aims to lead the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient future for all.
The coalition’s mission is to advocate for and implement policies and practices that support a circular economy, where resources are used efficiently, waste is minimised, and sustainable consumption patterns are embraced. By creating a collaborative platform for key players from both the public and private sectors, the coalition will develop and promote comprehensive circularity roadmaps tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of the ASEAN region.

Our inaugural webinar features a keynote from H.E. satvinder singh and a panel of excellent speakers including Carlo Alberto Pratesi, Claudia Chan, and David Treesuvit Arriyavat. The aim is to facilitate dialogue between ASEAN representatives, circular economy experts, and industry leaders. Together, we will identify opportunities and address challenges in implementing circularity in the region, while examining existing sustainability initiatives along with successful case studies.
