On Friday, 5 June 2026, ACESP team, led by Executive Director H.E. Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana, alongside Dr. Anthony Pramualratana, Deputy Executive Director of ACSDSD, attended the prestigious C asean Forum 2026.

Held at the C asean Auditorium in the CW Tower, this year’s forum convened under the forward-looking theme, “Navigating ASEAN’s Future: Gearing Towards the 60th Anniversary.” The event brought together regional leaders, top diplomats, and industry pioneers to map out the strategic evolution of the ASEAN community.

The forum was officially opened by Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, CEO of Thai Beverage PLC and Chairman of C asean. With ASEAN’s landmark 60th anniversary approaching in 2027, he emphasized that this is a critical juncture for member states to fortify their shared commitment toward a peaceful, resilient, and inclusive regional community.

The centerpiece of the morning was a distinguished keynote address by Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council and former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Dr. Surakiart evaluated the region’s historical milestones while outlining the essential structural and strategic pivots required to sustain progress in the decades ahead.

The afternoon sessions delved into high-level diplomacy and practical industry shifts through Ambassadors’ Dialogue for Future Resilience moderated by H.E. Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata, Vice Chairman of C asean, and  Insight Talks: Advancing Regional Competitiveness, focusing on practical economic adaptation, the technical talks featured industry experts driving change on the ground.

ACESP Takeaway: As an organization dedicated to sustainable development and regional dialogue, we underscore our commitment to collaborating with regional stakeholders. The insights gained from the C asean Forum 2026 will continue to inform our initiatives as we help steer the ASEAN community toward a sustainable and resilient 60th anniversary and beyond.
