Bangkok, Thailand – The ASEAN Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ACESP) team, led by Executive Director Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana alongside Dr. Anthony Pramualratana, participated in a dynamic two-day event hosted by C-ASEAN on August 6–7, 2026, at CW Tower to celebrate the 59th anniversary of ASEAN.
The annual gathering brought together regional stakeholders, policymakers, private sector representatives, and youth leaders to exchange perspectives on key regional challenges, celebrate ASEAN connectivity, and explore strategic pathways toward a more sustainable and resilient future.

- Empowering Future Voices at the ASEAN Youth Speech Contest 2026: On the morning of August 6, the event opened with the Final Round of the ASEAN Youth Speech Contest 2026. ACESP Executive Director Ms. Phasporn Sangasubana served on the distinguished panel of judges, evaluating young visionaries from across the region as they articulated their perspectives on regional identity and future development.
- Exploring Stories of Interconnectivity: The afternoon session featured engaging talks under the banner “ASEAN Connectivity Through Stories,” highlighting how localized narratives travel across borders to build shared cultural understanding and strengthen community bonds across Member States.
- C-ASEAN Forum 2026 & High-Level Dialogues: On August 7, the ACESP delegation participated in the C-ASEAN Forum 2026, themed “Resilient ASEAN: Connectivity as the Competitive Advantage.” Keynote and panel discussions addressed critical topics, including economic and social resilience, physical interconnectivity, and narrowing regional development gaps to maintain competitiveness amid global uncertainties.
