The ASEAN Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ACESP) hosted an executive youth engagement session at CP All Academy (Panyapiwat Institute of Management), partnering with NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) Grand Tour Thailand program.
Dr. Treesuvit (David) Arriyavat, Senior Project Manager at the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD) and ACESP, led an interactive lecture and strategic workshop titled “ASEAN Business in a Changing Sustainability Landscape: Markets, Regulation, and Competitiveness in the Sustainable Transition”.
Key Session Highlights
- Connecting Regional Trade & Global Policy: The session examined ASEAN’s position as the world’s 5th largest economy ($4.3T GDP in 2025) alongside shifting market dynamics. Students explored how incoming global regulations—including the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and Digital Product Passports (DPP)—are redefining regional supply chain competitiveness.
- Decoupling Growth from Waste: Participants reviewed circular economy fundamentals and R-strategies (R0–R9), analyzing real-world Southeast Asian enterprise business models.
- Actionable Workshop Application: Third-year international students applied 4P, 4C, and 4E marketing frameworks to build market-entry and circular expansion strategies for cross-border business models.
